I graduated from Slovak Technical University in May 1997 with a Master of Science Degree. My major was organic chemistry. I have also accumulated tree years of PhD. study experience in organic chemistry research. This experience gave me the good support and starting points to the next professional carrier in environmental topics. Several international positions in the prestigious organizations helped me to be oriented in the current environmental tasks.

My professional life is oriented on both domestic and international activities. I worked on developing the national system for reporting of environmental requirements in air pollution and climate change in Slovakia in 2007 and since that time, I do management of national greenhouse gas emissions on national and international level. In addition, I am chairing the Scientific Advisor Board of the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute where I am employed since 2003. Since the year 2020, I am a member of the UN FCCC body – Consultative Group of Experts as one of 3 European experts.
