UNFCCC review 2021 on greenhouse gas emissions

On behalf of the expert review team for the 2021 annual submission of Slovakia and in accordance with paragraph 84 of the Annex I GHG inventory reporting guidelines (annex to decision 13/CP.20), a 36-pages report on the provisional main findings at the end of the review week was delivered on Saturday September 25. Report is not final and will be reviewed by the Slovak expert team. The positive outcome of the UNFCCC 2021 annual centralised review is, that no so-called “Saturday Paper” with identified underestimations of the GHG emissions was delivered to us, so the emissions published in April 2021 are valid and accurate. We had similar success also in the EU ESD review held in the first half of 2021.

Final review report will be published by the end of 2021.
